Summary of Position

Under administrative review from the
Enterprise Business Operations Manager and the Research Computing Center (RCC) orchestrator, this position provides comprehensive support
addressing financial oversight, business management, administrative needs, and communication strategies as part of the Administrative
Services team for Enterprise Technology & Services (ET&S).

Duty/Responsibility

Handle complex business
matters, budget projections, budget changes, monitoring expenditures, and reconciliation of accounts for RCC. Oversee monthly billing of
customers, respond to customer questions/issues and coordinate processing of payments. Perform financial analyses and develop and forecast
financial projections. Supervise the maintenance of computerized financial records of funds, appropriations and expenditures. Process
complex financial transactions, such as budget adjustments, submitting invoices for payment and revenue transfers. Develop service center
rates and perform rate calculations. Manage service level agreements and other contracts. Conduct contract negotiations with recruitment
agencies and write financial sections of proposals as required. Assist Director, Service Line Leaders, and division managers and staff on
budget and other business needs related to their programs, such as the procurement of service contracts, hardware and managing revenues.
Manage computer hardware and software maintenance contracts. Review, develop, and recommend changes in RCC’s operating procedures as
necessary to insure maximum efficiency.

Duty/Responsibility

Manage administrative needs for RCC and ET&S
as part of the Administrative Services team, such as processing payments, leaves, and travel reimbursements. Direct staff on such issues as
timesheets and leaves of absence; act as liaison with Human Resources. Oversee documentation of procedures and review for compliance.
Research, assemble data, develop and prepare administrative reports. Provide scheduling support for complex meetings and conferences. Serve
as liaison with other departments, schools, or colleges both on and off campus. Update position descriptions and approval documents for
posting and re-classifications of existing staff and vacant positions. Assist in planning, programming, funding, and monitoring
remodeling/renovating of facilities as needed.

Assist with the development and implementation of RCC communications including the
following:

  • Creation of content to support the RCC communications strategy.
  • Maintenance and updates of the RCC
    website.
  • Planning and execution of events open to the UNH community, external stakeholders, and the public.

Duty/Responsibility

Other related duties as assigned including: Providing staff training and professional
development in such areas as business operations, policies and procedures, and new department initiatives.
