The Chief Information Officer serves as the administrative head for the WCJC Office of Information Technology. This position is responsible for the management and implementation of all IT systems and software, while ensuring superior customer service and support for faculty, staff, and students. The Chief Information Officer is tasked with making decisions related to the plans, policies, and processes for all functional units within the IT department. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related area. Ten years of professional experience in Information Technology with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in higher education. Demonstrated effective leadership and supervisory experience in the area of IT. Strong database administration experience is required. Individual must exhibit excellent interpersonal, supervisory, and written/oral communication skills. Criminal background check required.
