SUMMARY
The Data Manager holds primary responsibility for maintaining and reporting on all
College data sources while maintaining collaboration with the students, faculty, and staff. Additionally, the Data Manager assists in
maintaining all platforms that collect and maintain data.
SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE*
- Provide database
support for the Jenzabar/PowerFAIDS/Salesforce//Microsoft SQL Administrative Systems. - Designing, developing, and modifying data
infrastructure to accelerate the processes of data analysis and reporting - Reviewing presentations, manuscripts, graphs, and tables
to ensure accuracy and quality - Developing standards of operation when handling and archiving data
- Maintaining data
management plans and instructions for operating complex business systems - Overseeing the integration of new technologies and
initiatives into data standards and structures - Evaluating the design, selection, and implementation of database changes by
comparing them with business requirements and design documents - Assessing system performance and making recommendations for
hardware, software, and data storage improvements - Ensuring data and information security by integrating and upholding digital
security systems - Evaluate emerging administrative technologies
- Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
College degree preferred and/or relevant work experience in an education institution;
knowledge of relational databases and database systems; good troubleshooting skills and the ability to work well under pressure; the
capacity to integrate data with PC software tools (Microsoft Office and InfoMaker) as well as the ability to manipulate data using SQL;
knowledge of project management skills to manage system implementation, upgrades and maintenance; requires attention to detail; good oral
and written communication skills; ability to interact positively with all members of the college community especially administrative
personnel as well as work well independently; and commitment to provide service in a team-oriented setting.

- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Higher
Education experience Preferred - 2 years of related experience

prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Ability to complete projects with minimal supervision

- Detail oriented and organized
- Must
display a good representation of the College - Proficient with Microsoft® Office Products (especially Word and Excel and SQL);
Reporting software experience (InfoMaker or similar) - Proficiency with Internet to use as resource, research and work tool
- Good interpersonal skills – ability to work well with Faculty, Students and Staff
- Excellent oral communication skills
(i.e., ability to deal effectively with others; speak professionally on the phone, etc.)
