Summary of Job Duties:
This
position will be part of the Enterprise Applications and Data Services (EADS) Department within University Information Technology Services
(UITS) organization. EADS is comprised of three strategic service teams: Enterprise Applications Service, Business Applications Services,
and Data Services. This Director position will lead the Enterprise Applications Services team, which provides solutions to enable and
sustain the university’s strategic plans and initiatives with focus on enterprise applications; provide the primary liaison to align the
enterprise application team’s interests and internal/external stakeholders interests; advise leadership on enterprise application operations
and business need alignment; direct strategic planning initiatives and establish objectives to ensure appropriate use of financial,
administrative, and staffing resources to align with UITS strategic plan; develop operating policies and procedures to comply with
regulations, institutional policies, and system objectives; provide supervisory authority; assist in developing technology roadmaps, budget
requirements, and service level agreements; and provide leadership via managers in a matrixed
organization.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
or equivalent work and education experience. - At least 3 years of experience managing technical professionals.
- Experience in
Enterprise Resource Planning or Customer Relationship Management systems providing HRMS, Financial, Student Information Services, and/or
Salesforce services
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 3 years continuous leadership experience in a higher education
environment - Experience in organizational change management, communication, and training
- Experience investigating and
analyzing issues and using creative resourcefulness to assure the programs and initiatives meet the established goals - Experience
establishing metrics programs to drive performance improvement - Demonstrated experience working in or implementing an ITIL
framework
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven leadership ability including working with diverse groups of people
in gaining consensus and fostering a multi-cultural environment - Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
with a high degree of energy, initiative, and organizational ability - Demonstrated ability in planning and providing high-quality
application development, integration, or infrastructure services; and/or implementing related new technologies - Demonstrated ability
to conceptualize and articulate IT solutions to both executive leadership and others in the campus community

Salary

$90,000 – $98,000 (Commensurate with education and experience)
