The Director for Enterprise Application Services (EAS) leads a team of IT professionals in fulfillment of the
University’s IT strategic direction for enterprise applications. It partners with business unit leaders to stay apprised of their goals and
influence technical direction to meet them.  Monitors trends in the enterprise system landscape and informs strategic direction with the
Associate Chief Information Officer for Enterprise Systems.  The Director also oversees EAS staff in the daily operations, projects and
maintenance of Oracle/PeopleSoft applications, vendor-purchased and homegrown ancillary systems, and


Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related
field preferred.  Bachelor’s Degree and equivalent combination of education and experience required.  10-12 years in an IT
Management/Leadership role required.

  • 10-12 years in an IT
    management/leadership role required
  • Experience and knowledge of enterprise applications including development and infrastructure is
  • Proven experience in leadership, collaboration and customer service
  • Strong verbal and written skills including the
    ability to translate and communicate technical and functional requirements
  • Experience with PeopleSoft applications is highly
  • Experience in higher education is highly desirable


  • Provide
    leadership and direction to balance ITS’ strategic direction with the goals and objectives of the ERP-supported business units.  Stay
    apprised of trends in enterprise systems.  Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with SU business unit leaders and colleagues
    from other institutions.
  • Direct operations of the Enterprise Application Services team in the administration of PeopleSoft HCM,
    Campus Solutions, Financials and portal, OnBase, Degree Works, Orange Success, Guardian, Accommodate and numerous
  • Participate in campus forums to provide consul and follow up on strategic initiatives.
