Helping Hands Fall Jobs in Yellowstone We operate 9 lodging facilities, 31 restaurants, and 5 campgrounds inside Yellowstone. You will bond quickly with your co-workers in this short season where it’s all hands on deck to finish out the season strong. As students return to school and the number of visitors decrease, those who work through October form a community by working and exploring together. When you apply for Helping Hands, your job will be whatever is needed for the day. Training will occur for each position. Each day may be different, so flexibility is the key. Some of the duties you may assist with include: – Kitchen crew (prep, set-up, service, clean up, and restocking of food service areas, dishwasher) – Housekeeping (clean and prepare guest rooms) – Campground worker (cleaning ash pits, servicing guest restroom and shower facilities) – Front of the House Restaurant: Host, Server Assistant (provide excellent guest service in an efficient manner) – Laundry worker (wash, dry, fold, count, and sort sheets, towels, blankets, tablecloths, napkins and more) What You Are Looking For – You have a positive attitude and proven work ethic – You thrive in a dynamic work environment – You want to earn some extra cash for the upcoming holiday season – You want a commute that involves walking through a national park Live. Housekeeping

  • Responsible for cleaning guest rooms and making them comfortable and inviting.


Kitchen Crew

  • Responsible for a variety of tasks in and around the kitchen such as light food prep, serving food in a cafeteria, running pre-ordered food to tables, performing dishwasher duties, and running a cash register.


Laundry Worker

  • Make sure linen is clean and has been processed in a quality manner. The linens from each of our hotels and restaurants are sent to our central laundry facility located in Gardiner, MT to be cleaned, sorted, folded and sent back out into the park.


Front of House Restaurant

  • Responsible for greeting and seating guests, taking reservations, using a seating charts to organize table rotation, and assisting with other dining room operations as needed.


Campground Worker

  • Responsible for the upkeep of the campground, cleaning and sanitizing restroom facilities, and assisting guests with necessary information
  • Lifting requirements of 40 lbs
  • Driver’s license required

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk, stand, bend, kneel and climb up and down stairs for up to 8 hours per shift.
  • Ability to push or pull up to 200 pounds occasionally when moving linen bins.
  • Working with chemicals
  • Good communication and time management skills
