Everyone knows TikTok for its viral videos and fun filters, but if something goes wrong and you need to contact TikTok, do you know the steps for doing so? This is something we don’t often think about with smartphone applications. We all have apps like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube on our phones. But if we need assistance with something regarding these apps, who should we contact?

In the case of TikTok, there are numerous scenarios where contacting someone can prove useful. Maybe you’re seeing the age-restricted error on your account and aren’t sure how to get past it. Perhaps you’re having trouble using a filter. Maybe you have a question about resetting your password. Whatever the case is, knowing how to contact TikTok can be extremely helpful. Although TikTok doesn’t make its contact info immediately apparent, getting ahold of the company is quite easy – so long as you know where to look.

The easiest way to contact TikTok (and how the company recommends contacting it) is through TikTok’s feedback form. This lets you send a message directly to TikTok’s support team and get the ball rolling on any assistance you need. From your smartphone, you can use the feedback form as follows: Open the TikTok app, tap the ‘Profile’ button in the bottom right corner, tap the three lines in the top right, tap ‘Settings and privacy,’ scroll down, tap ‘Report a problem,’ tap the paper/pen icon in the top right corner, and tap the icon again on the next page. From this page, tap the text box below ‘Tell us your feedback’ to start typing your message. Once you’re finished, tap the red ‘Report’ button. That’s it! If you’d rather use the feedback form from your computer, you can visit the ‘Share your feedback’ page and send your message that way, too.

Other Ways To Contact TikTok

If you don’t want to use the feedback form, another option is to contact TikTok on social media — specifically, Twitter. Open the Twitter app on your phone, tap the search icon at the bottom of your screen, type ‘TikTok’ into the search bar, tap ‘TikTokSupport,’ tap the message icon on the TikTokSupport profile, and send your message that way. The TikTokSupport Twitter account is available to help seven days a week, operating between 8:00 AM thru 5:00 PM PST.

And last but not least, TikTok does have email addresses you can contact directly from your inbox. If you’re having a problem with the TikTok app, you can email ‘info@tiktok.com.’ If you don’t have a pressing issue and just want to submit general feedback about the app, email ‘feedback@tiktok.com.’ TikTok recommends using the feedback form over directly emailing these addresses, but if for some reason you don’t want to do that, this is another option available to you.
