Apple is hosting its next product launch on March 8 at 1 p.m. ET. The event is titled “Peek Performance,” but the company typically hasn’t confirmed exactly what it will reveal. 

Though we’ll have to wait until March 8 to see what Apple has in store, reports suggest that Apple could launch a new version of the iPhone SE, its low-cost iPhone, and an upgraded iPad Air. 

Apple may also announce an update to iOS 15, CNBC reports, which would include upgrades to certain features like facial recognition. Finally, it has also been reported in Bloomberg that Apple may unveil upgraded Mac computers with newer M-series processors.

How to watch Apple’s ‘Peek Performance’ product event

You can watch Apple’s “Peek Performance” event live on March 8 at 1 p.m. ET. The event will be available to stream on Apple’s website, as well as Youtube and the Apple TV app.

What to expect from Apple’s March 2022 event

During Apple’s March 8 event, we’re expecting the announcements of a few lingering devices that haven’t recently been updated. That includes:

  • A refresh of the iPhone SE that hasn’t been updated since April 2020. It’s widely rumored that a new iPhone SE will come with connectivity to the latest network standard, 5G. It’s also expected that the cameras and processor will be upgraded in a new iPhone SE model. 
  • A new iPad Air model, which last saw an update in September 2020. It’s unsure in which direction Apple will take the iPad Air in terms of processor: A-series or M-series?
  • A new Mac is also said to be announced, likely with M-series processors, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.
