The University of Notre Dame is looking for an experienced leader and manager to join our Information Security team.

The Information Security team seeks an experienced manager with demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence. In this role, the Manager is responsible for managing information security operations, including the design and administration of information security technical infrastructure and systems, security monitoring, and incident detection and response. Additionally, the Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and publishing up-to-date information security policies, standards, and guidelines. The Manager will also drive the response to information security incidents; coordinate damage containment, evidence capture, business impact analysis and recovery.

Minimum Qualifications:
We are looking for an amazing person with:

  • Experience motivating and managing a high performing team
  • Strength in fostering relationships with University colleagues and across the industry
  • Broad Information Security leadership experience
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Valued skills, certifications and experiences may also include:

  • Information Security certifications such as CISSP, SANS GIAC, CISM
  • Knowledge of Information Security tools and industry best practices
  • Experience implementing new approaches and tools
