Job Summary
This position will be responsible for managing the College of Engineering’s end user support group that provides hands on support for over 1000 networked Windows and Mac systems used by the College’s faculty, staff, and graduate students. It will oversee scheduling and timely completion of the group’s assignments, support various departments and special projects within the College, implement end user system security enhancements, monitor software usage, evaluate needs, and develop training as necessary.
It also has responsibility for coordinating with departmental faculty and staff the installation and maintenance of approximately 200 departmental lab computers used in the various undergraduate programs, and liaising with personnel supporting campus PC labs and the Citrix-based Virtual Den environment to assure Engineering’s software is installed and running properly.
