The University of Kentucky International Center (UKIC) invites applications for a Director of Information Technology (IT) and Data Strategy. The UKIC Director of IT and Data Strategy reports to the Associate Provost for Internationalization and works with the UKIC Leadership Team to develop an IT and data strategy aligned with the UKIC’s mission, vision and the goals of the UKIC Strategic Plan. The Director of IT and Data Strategy convenes and leads a team of data management specialists in various UKIC units (ISSS, EA, IHSS, IPR) to develop a cohesive UKIC data management plan and ensure data integrity across all UKIC outputs. The Director of IT and Data Strategy liaises with UK ITS and represents UKIC’s interests in communications with UK ITS. The Director of IT and Data Strategy is responsible for strategically developing and managing the UKIC website, including design, content, functionality and updating. The Director of IT and Data Strategy engages in projects to enhance UKIC operations and advance UKIC’s goals as articulated in the UKIC Strategic Plan and leads planning for ensuring optimal UKIC hardware and software.

Given the COVID-19 pandemic, and the need to protect our university community including our students, staff, faculty and visitors, the University of Kentucky is requiring COVID-19 vaccination for all new hires prior to starting employment.
