The IT Coordinator in the Office of Assessment & Technology is involved in full life-cycle
development related to systems supporting student information processing, including requirements analyses and confirmation, functional and
design specifications, implementation, testing, technical issues resolution, and other analytic processes for Web Application development.
The incumbent also performs duties as a critical developer and systems administrator within Enrollment Management (EM), and uses Java Web
and Java Enterprise development tools for supporting EM solutions. This position additionally manages the university’s document
imaging system (currently Optix), liaises with DIT on systems management, maintains systems documentation, and conducts systems training.
- Bachelor’s degree in an information technology related field, and computer
C/C++, and HTML. Ability to work in a team environment, and strong problem-solving skills to provide solutions.
- The candidate must
exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks. It is critical to the
office that the candidate possesses the ability to work in and promote a team environment and has the ability to interpret and communicate
information based on knowledge of institutional policies, procedures, and departmental considerations.
- Ability to utilize
management, security, and ancillary sub-systems of imaging systems.
- Experience with an
Oracle or SQL platform preferred.
- Experience with Informatica, ServiceNow, or Salesforce is preferred.
- Experience in
working in a large research University.
