Reporting to the Director of Identity and Access Management (IAM), as the Identity Operations Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of security analysts to ensure security and maintain service levels for a highly complex identity environment. Your daily activities will include customer relationship management, project planning, resourcing and scheduling, managing/coaching staff, and providing on-going functional, technical and operational support. In this position you will also participate in risk identification and remediation as well as security and auditing activities throughout the year.

Purdue System Security provides computing infrastructure and services to support the identification, authentication, authorization, and security technology needs of the campus, and provides consulting and troubleshooting in support of these services.

This position is 100% remote.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business, or related fields
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in IT Security, identity or related field
  • In lieu of degree, consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience managing or team leadership of technical staff
  • Experience working in a complex enterprise identity environment
  • Experience identifying & solving complex business problems 
  • Experience leading and supporting efforts in designing, building, testing, and deploying security roles
  • Demonstrated knowledge of concepts of security and access management, including principle of least privilege, separation of duties, privileged access management
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills – ability to multi-task as needed on various projects and initiatives

Preferred:

  • Experience in supporting portfolio of enterprise wide applications and projects, with a focus on Banner and/or SAP
