What will you be doing:
The Manager, Research Data
Services will be managing a team of research focused data analysts, data engineers and system specialists to deliver research data and
analytics. The goal is to partner with research and academic leaders at Cedars Sinai to design and build a world class research data and
analytics service. Will be responsible for maintaining a team to coordinate activities, including data and infrastructure, which supports
sophisticated and varied research workloads.
- Understand and represent the needs of the research and academic community at Cedars
Sinai to EIS - Collaborate with researchers, academic leaders, and staff within EIS to build and support data and analytics
activities. - Partners with infrastructure team to facilitate system design and delivery to meet customer needs.
- Establishes
relationships, sets expectations, and conducts communications with operations department management at the supervisor, manager, and director
levels, and with physician leadership, related to clinical end-user support and support level agreements. - Has overall
responsibility for delivery and support reporting, requirements gathering, planning, impact analysis, and resources/budgeting.
Experience Requirements:
- Five (5)+ years’ experience in a progressive research related leadership capacity in
hospital based academic setting. - Knowledge of infrastructure, database and cloud environments.
- Three (3)+ years overall
healthcare data or IT experience. (healthcare environment, Epic experience preferred)
Educational
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science
or related field of study. (preferred)
