Location
Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Department Information
The Department of Information Technology is part of the College of Computing & Software Engineering at Kennesaw State University located on the Marietta campus. The department has over 800 undergraduate majors, and over 300 graduate majors. Specialty areas include cybersecurity, networking, enterprise management, virtual IT systems, cloud computing, data analytics and management, blockchain, database, web development.

Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time faculty positions in Information Technology. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
The chosen candidate will be teaching Information Technology courses at the undergraduate (Part-time Instructor) or graduate (Part-time Assistant Professor or higher) levels.

Required Qualifications

  • An earned Masters or Doctorate in a computing discipline, such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information systems, or the foreign equivalent is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior teaching at the university/college level
  • Work experience in computing
  • Experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses
