Position Summary:

This position is responsible for developing, organizing, facilitating, and administering classes for the Workforce Development (WD) technology (computer engineering, information technology, and computer science). The position will support and coordinate computer engineering, information technology, and computer science efforts of the CWI Dean Computer, IT, Cybersecurity programs for all CWI IT programming and growth. This position is also responsible for ensuring sound programmatic content and quality.

Essential Functions:
* Coordinate all activities in the Workforce Development IT & Cybersecurity programs and courses. Activities include coordinating the instructor pool, scheduling, marketing classes to the community, and managing/supporting classroom quality and student success.
* Provide administrative and operational support in the form of communicating classroom needs to the operational team. Work with the designated staff (AVP, Director) for master scheduling, teacher assignments, and overall program/content quality.
* Recruit, onboard, and evaluate new instructors and their teaching methods to ensure the quality of content and instruction.
* Facilitate and evaluate classes in accordance with established standards for the IT & Cybersecurity programs, through planning and implementation of effective lessons that relate to the course objectives and can be evaluated by Outcomes Assessments.
* Responsible for supporting the budget development, monitoring, and administration of IT & Cybersecurity programs, including supply management and maintenance of appropriate programmatic records.
* Support CWI Dean of IT & Cybersecurity and program chairs with the academic operation: curriculum, meetings, and general support as designated by the Dean.
* Maintain current knowledge of state and national regulations and guidelines as it relates to students and curriculum requirements for IT & Cybersecurity programs.
* Support the CWI and the Workforce Development strategic plan objectives and initiatives.
* Convey by words and action the values expected by CWI.
* Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications:
* Three to five years of work experience in a collegiate and/or IT or Cybersecurity field preferred.
* Two years of supervisory experience (i.e. volunteers/employees) preferred.
* Experience in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with the IT & Cybersecurity community, organizations, and the general public preferred.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to exhibit good interpersonal skills and work well with others.
* Experience in planning, coordinating, and facilitating class offerings in IT and Cybersecurity education. Experience teaching adult learners is preferred.
* Solid understanding of the administrative, operational, and best practices and activities of IT and/or Cybersecurity professionals.
* Ability to travel to different CWI locations throughout the day. Additional Instructions for Applicants:
