Position Summary
The Project Manager plans and delivers Information Technology
projects. The Project Manager provides full life-cycle project management of assigned projects, including vendor software and tools
implementation, integrations with existing systems, release updates, IT infrastructure, networking, hardware, and applications deployments.
Projects range from smaller, short-scheduled efforts to larger, cross-departmental initiatives. The Project Manager ensures the delivery of
project objectives within prescribed schedule, budget and scope. This role will also assist in establishing project-related goals based on
business requirements, and will support the analysis, creation, and management of project budgets. This Project Manager indirectly leads a
small cross-functional team in support of identified projects.

Qualifications:
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree , PMP
certification or equivalent certification or experience.
Preferred Education:
Master’s Degree , PMP, or
equivalent background. Technical certification or equivalent experience
Required Experience:
5+ years of
experience in technical project delivery, preferably in a nonprofit or higher education environment. Experience leading subject matter
experts and distributed teams in the delivery of technical projects. Broad experience working with, negotiating with and managing
performance of external vendors. Experience working with offshore and/or geographically distributed project teams and resources. 2+ years of
experience leading project planning and delivery within in a PMO environment.
Preferred Experience:
5+ years of
experience successfully managing projects and programs with multi-million dollar budgets.
Required Skills, Knowledge and
Abilities:
Working effectively both independently and in complex teams. Excellent written and verbal executive communication
skills. Thorough operational understanding of project management frameworks.
