Job Description
We are currently looking for a Python developer to join our team at PhysicsX, located in Bicester, Oxfordshire. The role revolves around developing new methods and scrips, primarily in Python, with occasional use of Matlab, to aid our in-house and our partner’s AI and ML technology. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading innovation consulting company, working across multiple technology sectors.
Your role will entail liaising closely with our clients, our founder and our chief engineer. You will work on multiple projects in a range of applications, usually within a small team. Over time, we expect you to work on more challenging tasks and start leading the technical delivery some of the projects, from data engineering, code development, to data science.

Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of Python coding experience in a professional setting
- Experience in Matlab is a plus but not a requirement.
- MS Office suite
- Gumption, perseverance, motivation and getting along well with our team.
- Desire to learn and develop.

We just generally enjoy a very different atmosphere here, mixing open green spaces, filled with the sounds and sights of classic cars, with cutting-edge technology being developed in beautifully outfitted period brick buildings. Bicester is 45 min to Marylebone by direct train and 15 min to Oxford.
