The developer will be helping the existing team to deploy, scale, and maintain a system that will be used by millions of users worldwide. Through innovation in streaming and AdTech, the company is on a mission to make high-quality video programs available to everyone. This is a full-time role that requires a significant overlap with the PST/EST/CST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:
- Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS
- Configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as code (AWS CDK)
- Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems
- Define the tools, designs, and systems used by teams across the company
- Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements
- Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools
- Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization

Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer
- Extensive experience working with AWS, Java, Python, and React
- At least 3 years of experience building and maintaining AWS native infrastructure (Serverless, CDK/Cloudformation, VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, CloudFront, S3, Media Services)
- Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD and automating deployment
- Prolific experience building and deploying JAVA, React/JS, and Python applications in mission-critical environments
- Good understanding of how to secure AWS environments
- Solid foundation of networking and Linux administration
- Previous startup experience would be a huge plus
