This individual contributor role will report to the Performance, Education, Knowledge Team as part of the global Customer Experience organization comprising Technical Services, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Portfolio. Some key responsibilities include:\n\n\n* Prioritize, plan, lead, and develop curriculum development projects and programs.\n\n* Partner with functional stakeholders and L&D team members in a consultative manner to align learning solutions with development needs.\n\n* Work with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across functional teams and roles to translate business needs to effective training through innovative design and development techniques.\n\n* Leverage rapid, agile development techniques and processes to create content for a rapidly changing environment. \n\n* Develop a variety of high-quality and innovative content that best fits the learner needs (online, classroom, virtual, blended, exercises, tutorials, job aids, assessments, and other methods of learning) including social or connected learning strategies, and multimedia based assets.\n\n* Coach and mentor junior developers in use of design, authoring, and tools.\n\n* Review standard curriculum design and development templates for use across L&D to drive consistency in materials development, delivery methodology, or delivery vehicles.\n\n* Apply branding, graphics, interaction and more in an effective manner.\n\n* Continuously innovate designs of new content and learning experiences.\n\n* Design process to track and analyze curriculum effectiveness of training programs, apply feedback as needed, and establish a maintenance cycle for content.\n\n\n\n\n \n\nWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM….\n\n\n* BS degree or equivalent practical experience\n\n* Minimum 6-7+ years working in a content or curriculum designer-related role\n\n* Previous experience working in a technical support and/or customer support organization is a strong plus\n\n* Experienced using video editing tools (Final Cut, Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Premier, After Effects, Articulate 360, Articulate Rise, Vyond, Camtasia)\n\n* Extensive knowledge and experience using various graphic design styles and techniques\n\n* Experience with learning management systems to publish and manage content\n\n* Experience working with and integrating the use of knowledge bases and online reference for learning and performance support.\n\n* Strong program manager with excellent verbal and written communication skills. This includes skill in collaborating with subject matter experts and managers to help write, design, and develop, and manage projects.\n\n* Experience with leading projects for an entire group or department, or a major piece of a larger cross company product or project.\n\n* Significant experience working where customer satisfaction is paramount in a service delivery care environment\n\n* Significant experience in courseware development of a complex nature, demonstrating agility, speed, and efficiency of advanced instructional design, in a highly changing environment.\n\n* Experience with current instructional design innovation and technology\n\n* Portfolio/work examples required for consideration\n\n\n\n\n \n\nPure Storage applies a geographic based pay structure depending on an employee’s location. For applicants located in Colorado (as required by SB19-085):\n\n\n* The annual base salary range is: $112,700 – $169,400.
