Join our team as the Repair & Maintenance (R&M) Inventory Coordinator in Yellowstone National Park!


The R&M Inventory Coordinator is a full-time, year-round position located in Yellowstone National Park and based out of the Gardiner, MT. This position reports directly to the R&M Purchasing Agent. This position is responsible for maintaining an accurate and organized inventory item system in the Gardiner R&M Warehouse.   • Position Type: Full Time Year Round
  • Schedule: ~40+ Hours Per Week
  • Location: Mammoth area of Yellowstone National Park
  • Housing: Housing is not guaranteed for this position; employee may need to secure housing in Gardiner, Emigrant or Livingston, MT

The Must Haves

  • Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have extensive knowledge of engineering and mainteance type materials and the suppliers for these materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Runs all location maintenance storeroom reorders in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); accurately and efficiently picks items and prepares for shipment.
  • Physically receives all R&M orders from vendors; verifies accuracy of receipts and stocks in appropriate R&M Warehouse bins or prepares for shipment to location storerooms.
  • Completes purchase order receipts in the CMMS system.
  • Assists with quickly resolving all issues created by back orders, incorrect shipments, substitutions, and freight or damage problems.
  • Assists with receiving and unloading delivery trucks in the absence of Warehouse personnel.
  • Performs the annual physical inventory count of the R&M Warehouse.
  • Performs R&M Purchasing Agent duties upon his/her absence.

Qualifications:

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Must possess good communication, organization, computer and general accounting skills.
  • Must have a basic knowledge of facility maintenance and construction procedures.
  • Must be able to safely operate a pallet jack and forklift.
  • Must have the knowledge to comply with all current safety and health requirements.
  • Must be able to read, understand and comply with all Company policies and procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
  • Must possess the physical stamina to withstand heavy, labor-related work in an outside environment, including standing, bending, kneeling, and crawling for extended periods of time when required.
  • Must be able to walk long distances over uneven terrain and climb stairs and ladders in all types of weather conditions.
