The primary mission of Cornell University’s Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering (BME) is to educate students to understand the human body as an integrated system through quantitative engineering analysis and to use that understanding to design better therapeutic strategies, devices, and diagnostics. This positon provides technical support to the BME undergraduate design lab and the BME Masters of Engineering (MEng) design and construction labs. Responsibilities of this position include: managing and maintaining the teaching laboratory facilities and equipment; developing lab and course materials in consultation with the BME Design instructor or assigned faculty lead; training and overseeing teaching assistants, instructing students in the design laboratory; providing technical assistance and mentoring for design projects.
