Position Summary:

Leads major concurrent complex projects from initiation through implementation, including coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants. An active member of the IS PMO, the project manager will also assist leadership with optimizing existing project processes, procedures and guidelines. There also may be opportunity to mentor junior-level project managers.

Salary Range:

Annual Rate Minimum $74,000.00 Midpoint $108,500.00 Maximum $143,000.00

Required Qualifications:

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating

Strong interpersonal skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Systems including 3 or more years project management experience in a Healthcare environment

Minimum 3 years of experience in working with IT infrastructure, hardware and data center technologies

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Exceptional skills in report writing and making technical presentations

Proven skills in managing large and complex projects

Ability to manage multiple fast-paced technical projects

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP Certification

Knowledge of UCI policies and procedures

Experience with Epic

Seven – ten years of experience project management
