Job Description
We’re looking for a strong senior-level Python engineer to join the remote team. Headquartered in Los Angeles, California. Our client applies the latest technology and the best engineering practices to help businesses grow.
Project: text messaging automation software platform
Stack: React.js on the front end with Redux-Saga, Storybooks, slick-looking UI with a custom design system, and an AI-powered conversation builder using the Canvas API.
The front end is powered by Python / Django backend API on top of a PostgreSQL database with Kafka processing high throughput text messages at the scale of 10s of millions of messages per day. Soon we’ll be adding NoSQL and Kubernetes into the mix.

Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on full-time coding experience
- At least 3 years of recent experience with Python, Django, or Flask/FastAPI/Pyramid in commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of scalable backend API architecture, best practices, and tools.
- Proficiency in speaking and writing English (English-speaking team).
- Experience with automated testing.
- You should be able to work with a minimum 4-hour overlap with the Pacific Timezone
