Health Insurance Innovations, a Tampa-based distributor, and founder Michael Kosloske were targeted in a June 2019 class action lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Fort Lauderdale claiming that they directed, aided and abetted a marketing scheme that raised $150 million over five years selling virtually worthless health insurance that victims were told complied with the Affordable Care Act.
