Enterprise Marketing works closely with our Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure our brand is effectively showcased throughout the entire buyer journey – from awareness to advocacy.\n\nRole Description\n\nWe are looking for a Product Marketing Manager with proven years of experience to join our small but growing Enterprise Marketing function, reporting into our Director of Enterprise Marketing. As a newly established function within an early-stage start-up, this will be an incredibly exciting, expansive and impactful role. This is a unique opportunity to be responsible for developing and leading the enterprise product marketing work for a truly category-defining product.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nYour responsibilities will see you working across the Enterprise Marketing, Sales and Customer Success, and Product teams at Forage. Your priorities will be ensuring Forage consistently has the customer at the forefront of all of its enterprise-related activities and is articulating the product’s value in a way that resonates with the market, and drives adoption and advocacy. This will include:\n\n\nRefining and owning our value proposition – and ensuring it aligns with our target audience and their needs and objectives;\n\nRefining and owning our overarching positioning and messaging, and doing so in a way that enables us to continue to own and define our product category; \n\nDeveloping and implementing a framework for capturing ongoing insights into our clients, target clients, competitors, and the market more generally. This will be critical for ensuring not only ongoing improvements to our value proposition, positioning, and messaging (and how these are implemented throughout the Marketing and Sales funnel), but also our product more generally;\n\nDeveloping Buyer Personas that will optimize activities across the broader Enterprise Marketing, Sales and Customer Success, and Product teams;\n\nWorking with content creators on blogs, copyrighting, social media, and case studies, as well as our Sales Enablement team, to ensure the content adequately speaks to our target audience; \n\nProviding tactical support to our Director of Enterprise Marketing for special projects or initiatives. \n\n\n\n\nSkills\n\n\nResearch and insights driven: You know and understand what good, credible and insightful research looks like. You not only are able to easily synthesize and draw analyses, but you are also able to coordinate and drive research initiatives.\n\nStrategic, deep-thinker: You take time to plan, think ahead, and anticipate next steps and requirements that will set our company up for success. While you can move quickly and tactically, you are consistently working within a broader, well-thought out plan. \n\n\n\n\n\n* Exceptional communicator: You not only have exceptional written communication skills that enable you to seamlessly tailor messaging to various audiences, but you are also able to effectively communicate across teams internally – particularly in a fast-paced, remote, and evolving environment. \n\n\n\n\n\n* Results-driven self starter: You can work autonomously and with minimal supervision. You don’t need prompting – you already know what needs to happen and by when, and you’re comfortable working in a results-driven start-up environment.\n\n\n\n\nRequirements\n\n\nProven experience working as a product marketer is critical. \n\nPrevious experience working in a start-up environment, particularly on a category defining product is highly desirable.\n\nProven track record, with demonstrable examples, of your product marketing impact.\n\nExperience autonomously managing individuals in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality outcomes.\n\nExperience working with and supporting senior leadership and external partners.\n\nExperience working in technologies such as Hubspot, WordPress, and Canva.\n\nPassion for working in a fast-paced environment that will require you to roll up your sleeves, work tactically with our Director of Enterprise Marketing and help build out a growing function – while consistently representing our brand as a true market leader. \n\n\n\n\nWhy work at Forage?\n\nForage is a dynamic team of builders who are passionate about equipping people with the skills to find their dream job.
